1. Course Seats: Non-refundable, Transferable

Our courses run as small, capped live batches. When you enrol, we reserve a seat in your batch for you and hold it against the limited number available. For this reason, course fees are non-refundable once your enrolment is confirmed.

If you are unable to attend, you can transfer your seat to another person instead of cancelling. To arrange a transfer, contact us through the with your enrolment details and the details of the person taking your place. Seat transfers do not attract any additional fee.

2. General Refund and Cancellation Policy

This refund and cancellation policy explains how you can cancel or seek a refund for a course or service that you have purchased through the Platform. Under this policy:

  • Cancellation requests will only be considered if made within 7 days of your purchase or enrolment, and only before your batch or sessions have begun. Once a batch has started, or a booked session or seat has been delivered, a cancellation request may not be entertained.
  • Some services cannot be cancelled once they have been delivered or availed, such as completed live sessions, one-on-one mentorship you have already attended, or downloadable materials that have been accessed. However, if you can establish that the quality of a service was materially not as described, a refund or a suitable remedy may be considered.
  • If a session, material, or service is not delivered as described, please report it to our support team within 7 days of the session or delivery. If you feel that a course or service is not as shown on the site or as per your expectations, you must bring it to the notice of our support team within 7 days. The support team, after reviewing your complaint, will take an appropriate decision.
  • For any services, certifications, or tools provided by third parties and accessed through the Platform, please raise the related issue directly with the respective provider.
  • In case of any refund approved by Designers Academy, it will take up to 30 days for the refund to be processed to you.
