How does booking a session work?+

Browse available mentors and pick an open time slot that works for you. Sessions are billed from your credit balance at a per-minute rate, so you only pay for the time you actually book.

What can I use a guidance session for?+

Whatever you need direct guidance on: a portfolio review, feedback on a specific project, career advice, or interview practice. There is no fixed agenda; you set it with your mentor.

How do I get credits to book a session?+

Credits come from the Designers Academy Rewards program. You earn them through referrals, high attendance, an approved portfolio project, a published article, or an approved tool submission, or you can top up your balance directly at /learner/rewards.

Can I cancel or reschedule a booked session?+

Yes, as long as you cancel before the mentor's cancellation window closes (typically a few hours before the session). Your credits are refunded automatically. Cancelling after that window may not be refundable, since the mentor has already reserved that time.
