Position Summary
As a UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for creating intuitive, scalable, and visually compelling user experiences across our digital products. You will collaborate closely with founders, product teams, developers, and business stakeholders to transform ideas and business requirements into exceptional user experiences.
The ideal candidate combines strong UX thinking with excellent visual design skills and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
User Experience (UX)
Translate complex business requirements, workflows, and customer needs into simple, intuitive, and user-friendly experiences.
Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, competitor analysis, and usability testing.
Create journey maps, information architecture, and user flows.
Develop wireframes, user flows, low-fidelity concepts, and interactive prototypes.
Identify usability issues and recommend design improvements based on user feedback and analytics.
Design experiences that are accessible and inclusive, with an understanding of accessibility principles and WCAG fundamentals.
Balance user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints when making design decisions.
Champion user-centric design thinking across all product initiatives.
User Interface (UI)
Create high-fidelity, visually engaging, and pixel-perfect interfaces for web and mobile applications.
Strong proficiency in Figma, including Auto Layout, Components, Variants, Variables, Prototyping, and Design Libraries.
Develop and maintain scalable design systems and reusable component libraries.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of typography, colour theory, spacing, grids, visual hierarchy, and layout principles.
Design responsive experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
Ensure consistency across products by adhering to brand and design standards.
Collaborate closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
Review implemented designs and provide feedback to maintain design quality.
Product & Collaboration
Work closely with founders, product managers, developers, and other stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
Participate in product discovery, brainstorming sessions, and feature planning discussions.
Contribute to product strategy by identifying opportunities to improve user engagement and experience.
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality output.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX, UI, and product design.
Required Qualifications
2-3 years of professional experience in UI/UX Design or Product Design.
