System Color Picker, by Sindre Sorhus, wraps macOS's built-in color panel as a standalone app, adding recently-picked history, palettes, and quick copy in Hex, HSL, RGB, OKLCH, LCH, and CMYK.
A global keyboard shortcut opens the picker from anywhere on the system, and it can stay on top of other windows or launch at login, so grabbing a color no longer means digging into a specific app's menu first.
Mac users who want the native color panel's reliability with faster copy/paste and more format options, without switching to a full third-party color app.
It also imports Simple Color Palette and Adobe Swatch Exchange (ASE) files, useful for bringing an existing brand palette in rather than re-entering every color by hand.
The familiar color picker supercharged.
