Screen Studio is a macOS app that automatically zooms and smooths your cursor movement while you record, turning a plain screen capture into something that looks hand-edited. It's built around that one effect rather than being a general-purpose recorder.
It's macOS only: the app's own FAQ still lists "Is the Windows version ready?" as an open question, so there's no cross-platform option yet. The real difference from Loom or Cap is that it isn't for async messaging; it's for the polished demo or tutorial clip you'd post on social media or a landing page, putting it closer to Tella's territory than Loom's.

There's no genuinely free tier. You can install the app and edit without paying, but exporting a finished video requires an active subscription: $9/month billed annually ($108/year) or $29/month month-to-month. The one-time lifetime license Screen Studio used to sell was discontinued in September 2025, so new buyers are subscription-only.
