OpenMoji is an open-source emoji set of 4,495 emoji, hand-drawn to one consistent style guide by 80+ students and two professors at HfG Schwäbisch Gmünd plus outside contributors.
A single style guide across nearly 4,500 emoji means custom or platform-specific emoji you add later can be drawn to match, unlike mixing emoji from different vendors' inconsistent styles.
Good for products that want a distinct, non-Apple/non-Google emoji look, or that need emoji as editable SVGs rather than locked platform glyphs.
Licensed CC BY-SA 4.0 (attribution and share-alike required), covers Unicode Emoji v17.0 with Fitzpatrick skin-tone variants, and ships as SVG, PNG (72px and 618px), a beta font, and an iOS app.
Open source emojis for designers, developers and everyone.
