Inkscape Editor for Draws is a Chrome and Edge extension that opens a full browser-based build of the open-source Inkscape vector editor in a new tab.
Rather than annotating the page you're on, it hands you an actual SVG editor (paths, gradients, alignment tools, text-on-path), without installing desktop Inkscape, so you can trace or rebuild a logo or icon you just spotted while browsing without switching apps.
Use it when you land on an SVG icon, logo, or diagram somewhere online and want to pull it apart or redraw it in vector form on the spot, instead of firing up desktop software.
It quietly scans the URLs you visit and reports them to OffiDocs' servers so it can flag image or vector files worth opening (that scan is on by default and can only be turned off from the popup), and it's a smaller, slower-moving project than most here (3.1 stars, last shipped in mid-2024).
