The problem
Patients visiting local clinics and large hospitals across India struggle to collect, store, and share their own historical medical records. Most diagnostic centers and doctors still rely on physical paper files or fragmented local software, leaving patients to carry heavy folders of physical reports from one doctor to another. When files get lost, tests get duplicated at extra cost.
Existing attempts to digitize health records usually force hospitals to adopt complex software they ignore, or they dump raw PDFs into messaging apps that users cannot search or organize. Patients end up with zero control over their health data history. Designers need to create a patient-facing flow that gathers records from varied sources without demanding perfection from hospital staff.
Success criteria
Users can digitize and organize a physical prescription in under two minutes, and share a specific past lab report with a new physician in three taps or fewer.
