We're Codebuddy — a product engineering services company based out of Kolkata, with an office in Pune. We work with clients across industries daily, and in just 5 years have worked with 120+ clients. Our team's average age is 26, so you can imagine how young and energetic we are.
You'd be joining our team of 4 designers. Our designs have helped startups get acquired and even get into Y Combinator.
What's the Role?
Translate crude requirements into understandable user journeys and wireframes
Craft polished, well-considered user interfaces
Create Lottie animations based on project needs
Hand off designs to developers cleanly and accurately
Occasionally conduct user interviews and usability testing
Occasionally work on social media posters featuring the Codebuddy brand
Requirements
Strong communication skills — able to clearly explain design decisions
Comfortable working independently, with minimal supervision
Able to work closely with clients and adapt to their feedback
A can-do attitude, with attention to detail and a sense of humor
2+ years of UI/UX design experience
Proficiency in Figma and the Adobe CC suite, including auto layout
A strong portfolio
Experience with micro-interactions (preferably Lottie) is a plus
