The Role:

• We’re looking for a hands-on UI/UX Designer who can translate complex product ideas into simple, intuitive, and delightful user experiences. You’ll own the end-to-end design journey across Ctruh’s web and platform experiences — from user research and interaction design to high-fidelity UI and implementation support.

• This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, enjoys solving ambiguous problems, and wants to actively shape the design direction of a high-impact product. You’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, and leadership to ensure design decisions are user-first, scalable, and aligned with business goals.

What You’ll Own:

1. End-to-End Product Design

• Own the full UI/UX lifecycle: research, ideation, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, and handoff
• Design intuitive user flows, information architecture, and interaction patterns
• Translate complex workflows into simple, usable interfaces
• Ensure consistency and usability across web (and future mobile) platforms

2. User Research & Usability

• Conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions
• Analyze user behavior, pain points, and usage patterns
• Validate design decisions using qualitative and quantitative insights
• Iterate designs based on research, product metrics, and stakeholder feedback

3. UI Design & Visual Excellence

• Create high-fidelity UI designs that are clean, modern, and pixel-perfect
• Define layouts, typography, color systems, and visual hierarchies
• Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and usability best practices
• Maintain visual consistency across all product surfaces

4. Design Systems & Scalability

• Build and maintain a scalable design system and component library
• Ensure reusability and consistency across features and teams
• Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation
• Continuously refine components based on product evolution

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with product managers to define requirements and scope
• Partner with engineering teams to ensure feasibility and smooth handoff
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and product discussions
• Clearly communicate design rationale to stakeholders

6. Product Thinking & Ownership

• Advocate for user-centric design while balancing business objectives
• Contribute to product strategy through design-led thinking
• Identify UX gaps and proactively propose improvements
• Take ownership of design quality across the product

7. Continuous Improvement & Trends

• Stay updated with UI/UX trends, tools, and interaction patterns
• Bring fresh ideas, patterns, and innovations into the product
• Continuously improve design processes and workflows

What We’re Looking For:

Must-Haves

• 3+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design for digital products
• Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design thinking and execution
• Proficiency in Figma (Adobe XD / Sketch acceptable)
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles
• Experience designing responsive and accessible interfaces
• Ability to simplify complex ideas into intuitive experiences
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• High attention to detail and strong visual aesthetics
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience designing SaaS or B2B products
• Familiarity with frontend basics (HTML, CSS, JS)
• Experience working with design systems at scale
• Exposure to usability analytics and product metrics
• Prior startup or early-stage product experience
